An instrumental originally written as part of a video game soundtrack, the final cliffhanger before the end credits rolled. This is the only song on the album to not have been recorded between January and May of 2022.
Some may wonder why this song ended up on the album at all. Simple. When my daughter was born, we played a lot of music for her to listen to. This song ended up in one of her playlists. Later, after she had her first birthday, we started asking her questions and recording the answers in a book we will give her later when she graduates. One of those questions was "what is your favorite song" and more than once her answer was "Road Ahead".
My daughter's opinion trumps all. It goes on the record.
